Our Story
At the Crossroads of the Gem Trade
PG Emeralds Middle East FZC is the gemstone house founded by Puneet Godha. In 2013 he moved his base of operations to Dubai, positioning the firm at the crossroads of the international gem trade.
Today PG Emeralds directs global sourcing, trading and client relationships, specialising in the “Big Three” precious gemstones: emeralds, rubies and sapphires.
Heritage
A Heritage Since 1973
In 1973, Puneet Godha’s late father, Shri Arun Ji Godha, established his own gemstone business. Growing up, Puneet secretly admired his father’s sharp eye for fine stones, his meticulous purchasing decisions and his relentless work ethic.
Following his father’s untimely passing in 2004, he turned loss into purpose. Carrying forward the values of discipline, honesty and precision, he established his own firm in 2009 to build an enduring legacy.

Puneet Godha
Gemology in the trade is as much an art as it is a science. Over two decades of hands-on experience, Puneet Godha has cultivated an “eye for color” — the intuitive ability to evaluate tone, saturation and natural fire in raw and cut gems.
He holds a strict personal standard of hand-selecting stones directly from source hubs, so that every gemstone reflects rarity and value.
Hard work and faith in oneself combine together to give birth to confidence, and confidence assures success.

Puneet Godha credits much of his success to the master craftsmen and mentors of Jaipur, Mumbai and Bangkok, and remains actively engaged in guiding young entrepreneurs and emerging traders entering the colored gemstone sector.
